If you are a recent college graduate or a young person considering health insurance, an Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Tonik Plan may be right for you. There are 3 plans to choose from and all 3 plans offer:
- $10 copayment for generic prescription drugs
- Low copays for doctor visits
- $100 copayment for the Emergency Room (deductible waived)
- Coverage out of state
- Basic Dental
- Eye exams, glasses or contacts

Dental Benefits
All three plans come with the same Anthem PPO dental maintenance plan. Checkups, cleanings, an x-rays are basically free. If you need a filling you pay the $25 deductible and 20% of the procedure cost and the Tonik Plan picks up the remaining 80%.
The Tonik Plans do not cover cosmetic procedures or major dental work like root canals.

Vision Benefits
The vision benefits do not require a copay or deductible. The Tonik Plans will pay $50 for routine eye exams, regular glasses, or contact lenses no matter where you go for these services. Tonik Plans will also cover up to $100 for basic frames and $80 for contacts. In addition, you will only pay $25 for eyeglass lenses if you use a BlueView Vision network provider.
